Has a wonderful Living Area with 180% Sea Views The generous 30 x 40ft living area has an open vaulted ceiling using some of the original stone and wooden beams from the 17th century previous building.There are limed oak floors with under floor heating, a suspended wood burning stove, it is a truly wonderful place to gather with friends and family.
Wrap around views from floor to ceiling windows ensure a stunning panoramic sea scape, you can choose to loll on the blissfully soft linen sofas by the roaring log fire and watch the waves crash on to the shore….
or select a book from our extensive library and recline on the opium day bed, watch navel manoeuvres out in Whitsand Bay with our super powerful telescope or simply wash up a couple of lobster pots in the generous porcelain sink and watch the surfers have fun.
There is a TV on this floor with Sky and a Spotify digital duke box plus usual I Pod docking station and CD/DVD machine. WiFi throughout.

The dining table seats 10 and was hand made from an old, locally sourced oak tree, a joiner in his 70’s hand crafted it using traditional wood working methods…. The chandelier above the table was found in a Somerset gallery, made with vintage coins and can be lit with great care.
The view from the table is towards Looe Island, the sunsets with a glass of chilled wine unforgettable. The chef’s kitchen (really was designed by a chef) is fully equipped with just about everything you could wish for.
A large fridge freezer with ice making machine, fan assisted oven, microwave oven, gas hob with wok station, dish washer and a large selection of the usual and unusual crockery, glasses, pots, pans and utensils. We have a coffee machine, juicer, mixer…. The list is endless.
The curve of the slate work top hugs the coil of the striking spiral staircase that weaves down to the art gallery hallway on the floor below where a snooker table awaits you.
Provisions can be ordered on line, from the main supermarkets and also the fabulous local wet fishmonger and butcher. Our housekeeping team will receive and unpack everything ready for your arrival.
For special occasions our private chef can be booked in advance to serve freshly made feasts and also to prepare things for the fridge and freezer for you to enjoy during your stay.

She can cater for three to five course dinners, brunch and lunch parties, canapé and cocktail parties, high tea and even a romantic dinner for two. What better way to spoil that special person?
The service is individually tailored to you, and you can be assured of a relaxing meal cooked with the freshest ingredients, sourcing highest quality local Cornish produce wherever possible. As well as providing the chef, we will provide waiting staff if required. When the meal is finished, we will leave your kitchen just as we found it, with only the memory of a wonderful meal to remind you we were there.
